High schools in Carpinteria

Carpinteria is a small coastal town just south of Santa Barbara. Within this guide’s scope, its high school is Cate School — a private, college-preparatory boarding and day school founded in 1910, set on a mesa above the town.

Carpinteria also has a public comprehensive high school (Carpinteria High School, in the Carpinteria Unified School District), but it sits outside this guide’s Santa Barbara–city scope and isn’t profiled here.
